Kaer Metin Merah Putih militia leader, Lolotoe sub-district, Bobonaro district

Nicknamed Mouzhino, Ferreira was in April 2002 being tried in Dili for crimes against humanity committed in Lolotoe sub-district, near Maliana, between April and October 1999. He often wore a TNI uniform. An important focus of the case is the detention and repeated rape against three women alleged to be related to Falintil fighters. For details see Joao Franca da Silva.
